What started as an affinity for building lego creations, mini-houses from mismatched pieces, grew as I did. I spent summer days and long afternoons in our machine shop, which doubled as the basement of my house.

In high school, I joined the school’s FIRST robotics club, DARC SIDE (6502). The team is largely student driven, and through it I solidified my passion for creating, as well as discovered a joy of sharing that passion with others. Junior year, I was elected co-captain and acted as Head of Electrical. Because of my involvement on the team, I was also a international Dean’s List Finalist for the 2022 FRC season. Senior year, I was re-elected, and continue to lead the the team.

I have also been involved with the Duke Quantum Center, the largest ion trapping quantum computing lab in the country, as an electrical engineering intern. For the lab, I’ve designed and built PCBs, constructed optical tables and set up microcontrollers.

I spend my time off programming, working towards my private pilot’s license, and watching F1.
