Tennis Ball Pressurizer
I love playing tennis and I take lessons twice a week. But I noticed a problem: all of my tennis balls were going flat.
How could I store the tennis balls in a way that preserved their pressure?
THE PROBLEM
Initial Brainstorming
Tennis balls are placed in one end. The other end has a value for pressurizing via air compressor.
Tennis balls are stored in the internal cavity.
CAD
A cam lock fitting with a removable top is used as an entry/exit point for the tennis balls.
A valve and fitting are placed in line to create a way to easily and safely add and remove pressure.
The main body is made of PVC pipe. Each piece is interlocked and sealed so the entire device is airtight.
Final Build
Interior of device accommodates four tennis balls.
Easily removable top
